Burberry Otoño/Invierno 2018: una lección de inspiración cultural de manos de Adwoa Aboah

Para que algo dure tiene que evolucionar. Es la única forma de mantenerse con vida y en primera línea de tendencias. Burberry lo sabe y no ha dejado de adaptar su clásico estampado de cuadros de múltiples formas. Hace unos meses lo tiñó de colores para celebrar el orgullo LGTB y ahora se ha deconstruido con inspiración africana para su colección Otoño/Invierno 2018-2019, con la mismísima Adwoa Aboah de protagonista. ¿Qué te parece esta mutación Burberry?

El print de Burberry es ya un clásico de la moda. Lo hemos visto en trenchs, en accesorios, en prendas y hasta en calzado. Por eso sabemos que acepta todo tipo de variaciones. Pero la modelo Adwoa Aboah ha llevado estas transformaciones al siguiente nivel en la campaña de Otoño 2018 de la marca británica. Para ello ha viajado a su país natal, Ghana, donde ha protagonizado una serie de fotos y vídeos junto a su familia por parte de padre, realizados por el artista Juergen Teller.

En la campaña, la top model y activista aparece acompañada de sus hermanas y primas, todas ellas luciendo diseños tradicionales del país realizados por su tía con tela vintage de Burberry. Esta es la tercera parte de una trilogía protagonizada por la modelo y Burberry que comenzó en Londres, ciudad donde nació; y continuó en Nueva York, donde vive actualmente. Ahora termina en Accra, ciudad de Ghana donde vive su familia.
